Studio Scale built Voca: vocabulary learning app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
1. Information We Collect
Studio Scale does not collect personal information through Voca.
You can use the app without creating an account, entering your name, providing an email address, or sharing other personal details.
We do not collect:
• Your name or contact information
• Your precise location
• Your contacts or photos
• Advertising identifiers
• Browsing or search history
• Data from other apps or websites
• Information for targeted advertising
• Information used to track you across apps or websites
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The app may store certain information locally on your device so that your progress and preferences can be remembered.
This may include:
• Saved or favorite words
• Progress
• Daily streak progress
• Selected difficulty level
• App settings and preferences
This information remains on your device and is not accessible to Studio Scale.
Deleting the app will normally delete the information stored locally by the app. Locally stored progress may not be recoverable after deletion.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Voca offers optional monthly and yearly auto renewing subscriptions.
All purchases, renewals, billing details, refunds, and payment information are processed by Apple through the App Store. Studio Scale does not receive or store your full payment card details.
The app may receive limited purchase information from Apple, such as:
• Whether you have an active subscription
• The subscription product you purchased
• The subscription expiration or renewal status
• Information needed to restore your purchase
This information is used only to unlock and manage the subscription features available to you.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless they are cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
4. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.
Voca does not use third party advertising networks.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
We do not display personalised advertisements.
5. Third Party Services
The app uses Apple services where necessary to provide App Store downloads, purchases, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and related platform functionality.
Apple may process information according to its own privacy policy and App Store terms. Studio Scale does not control how Apple processes information through its services.
We require any third party services used by the app to provide privacy protection that is consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
6. Internet Connection
Some app features may require an internet connection, including downloading app content, verifying subscriptions, restoring purchases, or receiving app updates.
Studio Scale does not use these connections to collect personal information unless this Privacy Policy is updated to clearly explain the collection first.
7. Children’s Privacy
Voca is designed to be suitable for a general audience.
Studio Scale does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not require an account or request personal information, children can use the app without providing personal details to Studio Scale.
A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information to us may contact us using the email address below.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Because we collect no personal data, there is no personal information to access, correct, export, or delete beyond removing the app.
Studio Scale does not maintain a database containing personal user information from the app.
Information stored locally can be removed by deleting the app from your device.
Subscription and transaction records processed by Apple are managed according to Apple’s own retention requirements and policies.
You may manage your subscription through your device:
Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Voca
9. Security
We design the app to limit data collection and keep app progress stored locally whenever possible.
However, no digital system or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. International Users
Voca may be available to users in different countries. Since Studio Scale does not collect personal information directly through the app, we do not transfer personal user profiles between countries.
Information processed independently by Apple is handled under Apple’s own policies and legal obligations.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its features, third party services, or legal requirements change.
When we make changes, we will publish the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
