Namaz Takip collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, no ads and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
Data we collect
None. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or device identifier, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Data that stays on your device
Stored only in the app's own container on your phone. Never sent to us, never backed up to a cloud of ours:
Prayers you have marked and your accumulated qada
Your votive (adak) intentions and completed rakats
The cities you added and their order
Your notification preferences
Downloaded prayer times, so the app works offline
Deleting the app removes all of it from your phone. We hold no copy, so nothing can be restored.
Location
When you open the qibla page, your location is used to compute the direction and distance to the Kaaba. Your location never leaves the device, it is not sent to us or anyone else, and it is not stored. The calculation happens entirely on your phone.
If you decline location access the qibla page still works, showing an approximate direction based on your selected city.
Compass heading is read from your phone's magnetometer and is likewise never transmitted.
Network access
The app's only outbound connection downloads prayer times. Times published by the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) are fetched through the public service at ezanvakti.emushaf.net.
Those requests contain only the district number you selected. Nothing identifying you is attached. As with any internet request, the service's provider can see the IP address it came from; that is outside our control and is not logged by us.
Once downloaded, times are cached on your phone and the app works without a connection.
Notifications
Notifications are created and scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent from a server, so their contents never travel over the internet.
Third parties
There is no ad network, no analytics, and no tracking code. No third-party SDKs are used. We do not share or sell your data, because we do not have it.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect data from children — it collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Because the data is yours and lives on your device, you do not need to ask us to delete, correct or export it: change it in the app, or delete the app to remove it entirely.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. If we ever begin collecting data — which we do not plan to — we will say so clearly inside the app.
