Rug Loom is a puzzle game for iPhone made by Studio Scale ("we"). This policy explains what information the game collects, why, and the choices you have. Rug Loom has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or contacts.
What the game keeps on your iPhone
Your progress (levels, stars, coins, boosters, lives) and your settings (music, sound, vibration) are saved only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.
Game analytics
To see how the levels play (for example, how many people start, win or fail a level and how long it takes), the game sends anonymous gameplay events to GameAnalytics. These include a random identifier the game creates (not linked to you or your Apple ID), the level, its result and time played, the app version, and general device information such as the iPhone model, iOS version and country (worked out from your IP address). We use this only to make the game better. See GameAnalytics' privacy policy.
Advertising
Rug Loom is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: optional ads you can choose to watch for a reward, and ads between levels from level 20. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), your IP address and coarse location, device information, and how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised based on this information where the law and your choices allow it. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's privacy policy.
- Tracking: the game asks for your permission before your advertising identifier can be used for tracking. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings › Privacy choices.
Purchases
The "Remove ads" purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; we only learn whether the purchase is active, so the game can stop showing ads between levels.
Children
Rug Loom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete information about you, or to object to its use. Because the information above is anonymous or held by GameAnalytics and Google, the quickest controls are the tracking and privacy choices described above, resetting your advertising identifier in iOS, and deleting the app. For anything else, contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
